I have been given a Summons to Witness for a trial in North bay on June 29th. The driver has been charged with Under Suspension and No Insurance. The vehicle was still registered in my name but I had sold the vehicle to a resident of North Bay some months previous and I have the Bill of Sale dated April 10/2011. This will cost me a day off work not mention the cost of driving to North Bay from Alliston and back. Is there any legal excuse I can use to avoid this inconvenience?

Hello. I was never notified by the FRO that my licence was going to be suspended. Mind you, I moved a few times since then, but don’t they require some confirmation that I was made aware of this possibility?

My apartment was broken into and thousands of dollars of my property were stolen. The thieves gained access through a window which the lock was broken on and I was unaware of the lock being broken. What are my rights here? Am I able to sure the landlord for damages?

Similar to how a common-law couple can enter into a cohabitation agreement to clarify their property rights as spouses, is there a way for common law couples to legally become each other’s next of kin?

I would like my common law spouse (having lived together for 6 years, in Ontario) to be able to give (or withhold) necessary consent for healthcare and other purposes in the event I wasn’t able to myself, and he would like the same for me.

I agree with Randy Hosking. I’ve been screwed over by F.R.O. ….. they’re stealing money from me that I don’t even owe. They’re crooks, guilty of murder, extortion and I’m going to take them and the whole family system down by exposing them for the crooks they are. Who the hell died and empowered women. I’m setting up 25 web pages for support payors, 10,000 on each to go to the so called politicians and change the family laws and take down the woman’s groups and put the power back in to Male’s hands and support payors’ hands.

can a corporation make you signe a leasing contract and when you ask them the double after signing your name and they say no copy of the contract will be giving to you after signing a lease for one years? can they do that?
